SECRETS TO FINDING HAPPINESS
1. Unconditional Love for your self and others is a key to finding lasting happiness.
Learning to love yourself unconditionally is a continuing process of lovinng yourself from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. Louise Hay is a great believer in doing mirror work: looking in the mirror at yourself and telling yourself I Love you eyes, I love you nose, I love you mouth. Continue all the way down your body loving what you see. loving is freedom and living free from those things that once held you back. And Kept you stuck going no where while loving yourself you are now here in every mo ment.
2. Accept yours and others imperfections.
Nature doesn't distinguish between a flower and weed they are all beautiful, unique, and have a purpose and are all useful in their own way. Embrace your uniqueness and allow your true beauty to stand out and know you are blessed and perfect.
3. Do what you love to do.
Don't live your life to please others, LIVE your life to PLEASE yourself and you will be rewarded with many Blessings over and over when you do what you Love. You then live your Passion.
4. Being compassionate.
Compassion starts with you, so if you don't show your self compassion how can you be compassionate to others. Allow your gentle kind loving self to be at the fore front of your life and watch how you call that back into your life just by being that way. You are showing others how you like to be treated by being compassionate.
5. Being kind to yourself and others.
There are times when we forget to be kind to our self and our inner child feels the lack of kindness and that holds us back from being all that we are. Be kind to yourself is giving your inner child a safe world to live in where she and you can thrive together.
6. Spend time with people you love and admire.
The people you love and admire are showing you all the wonderful aspects of you. I suggest when you are at home and have time write down all those things you see in the people you love and admire. Then write I am .............. those things you see in them it is so freeing.
7. Live your values.
I would suggest you write out a list of your values and keep adding to it as they surface or resurface. Keep your list where you can see it daily to remind yourself how important these values are to you.
8. Listen to your heart.
Your heart never lets you down, it will always let you know exactly how it feels, it is your guiding light. I recommend that everyday you connect with your heart, and ask your heart all your questions. Keep it simple is this good for me? yes/no. Is there something better for me? yes/no. Make sure you know what yes feels like and what no feels like, practice makes perfect.
9. Get out of your head and into your heart.
Do you realize how much time you spend in your head over the course of the day, is alarming because your head will lead you away from what is best for you. Connect with your heart everyday, keeping it simple by adding it to your morning ritual of getting washed/showered/bath. It takes minutes: Good morning heart every breath I breathe today I breathe through my heart, connecting and opening my heart centre to be my guiding Light.
Hold that space for a few minutes setting what your intentions are for the day, always saying thank you. Go about your day, reminding yourself you have a partner with every breath.
10. Know your purpose and live it.
Your soul and you decided how you wished to live this lifetime to the best of your abilities helping yourself and others along the way. That means treating yourself and others how you wish to be treated and it boomerangs back to you over and over.
11. Be creative.
How often do you tap into your unlimited source of creativity?? or do you say ' I can't paint, draw, cook, write books etc. You didn't come here to be like others you camme here to be like yourself, you know that unique being that you are. Be your creative self it is there.......waiting for you to realize, ask how can I be creative today?? Allow what comes.
12. Find your work/life balance.
Finding the right balance for you can be frustrating when you first try to achieve this, because it doesn't come overnight. First decide what that means to you and how it would look. Then work backwards from there, so you start with small doable steps and when they become your new normal add a couple more and repeat. If one day you can't manage your new routine allow those days, continue you on from where you were. We need to allow for the exceptions.
13.Listen to your inner wisdom/voice.
We are all intelligent beings with everything that we need for our journey within, however we forget that we have access to our inner wisdom. It is like anything we want to do well, it takes practice and some times perserverance. Be like the acorn, accept you have in that small acorn everything to grow into an oak tree. Change your thinking and start connecting with your inner voice/wisdom, find asking a question and writing down the answer helps to get over the bumps. Perfect that way then you won't need to write it down you will accept what you receive and perfect that too.
14. Be in tune with your Intuition.
Everybody has intuition or a six sense, some people feel when things are right or not right, others see it, others hear it and some just sense it, I am sure there are other ways to know. Embrace your unique and special inner radar system. Like anything the more you use it the better and sharper it becomes. Make a point of using it everyday and it will honed in no time.
15. See the positive in Life.
How we view life is very important because if you see everything as doom annd gloom that is the world you live in, and if you view life from a place of possibilities, doors will open when you give them an opportunity. Close the door and it is harder to open.
16. Accept what you can't change.
Change and transformation are a big part of our existence, so to is acceptance because not everything outside of you has to change, not everything inside of you has to change. When you change how you look at things, the things you look at change. Wayne Dyer
17.Trust yourself.
There is nobody who knows you like you know yourself even though many people give up there own critical thinking to some authority, YOU know what is best for you. If you have paid attention to all the questions above then you will know that TRUST is essential, you must trust your feelings, intuition, your gut, inner knowing and wisdom. Take the time to be aware what is best for you, who is best for you, where is best for. Smiling all day knowing you CAN TRUST YOURSELF.
18. Be willing to move forward.
Because if you don't you will become stuck going round in circles going nowhere when you could be now here, a better place to be and on the way to where you want to be. Even if you are no sure about moving forward trust your intuition, accept change.
19. Listen to the child within.
We are only as healed as our inner child is. She plays a huge part in our adult life. Having a happy safe inner child takes spending time and energy with her and helping her. I suggest you connect with your inner child by writing to her and asking her what you can do to help her. Then follow through as best you can with her wishes. You need to be patient, gentle and loving. Your inner child is one of your biggest assets to living a full loving happy free life.
20. Self Love.
Loving yourself is a continuous venture. If you haven't done any self love work, start loving your body from your head to your toes taking your time to really love every little bit of yourself. Your body will reward you for your love and acceptance. Love your body and your emptional body, mental body and spiritual body. The more you love yourselves the better they all work on your behalf. Plus you get all that love sent back to you from others because loving is so contagious.
