![a) When you physically take action, it helps in keeping your body agile, you can choose to go for regular walks, keep fit classes, step, zumba, or yoga classes to name a few. Doing regular action through exercise is setting yourself up for success time and time again, keeping you healthy in your mind, body and spirit. Puts you in the driving seat of your life. b) Emotionally releasing your pent-up feeling of stress and anxiety by taking action steps can be very successful in stopping you feeling, stuck going round and round on that same old treadmill, doing the same old thing expecting different results. Talking with a friend that is a good listener really helps, if you don’t have a close friend when you need them, do this; on your phone switch on your voice recorder and just talk, rant away until you have got all your pent up feeling and stresses out. You don’t really need anyone to respond you just need to get it off your chest, when you are finished press delete and know you have been creative in being successful by dumping your stress into the voice recording which you deleted feeling lighter and better. Repeat as often as needed. c) Mentally taking action is what I call getting into first gear by telling yourself you only have to do what you have been putting off, for 10 mins that is all. Set a timer and start doing the task you have been putting off doing, causing yourself more and more grief each time you prolong the non action. Allow yourself to be fully emerged in your task for 10 mins, then evaluate the situation by asking yourself are you done or could you do another 5 mins or so. Make your choice and go with it, if you are finished then congratulate yourself for doing your allotted 10 mins and know you can successfully do it again in 10 min slots until you are finished. d) Find logical reasons to convince yourself to do the tasks you don’t look forward to doing or that you simply don’t want to do. Do your best to make your life easier by visualizing yourself taking action steps ahead of time helps to create good habits that create success. Success is still success even if it is small steps. For small steps lead to bigger steps which lead to bigger successes. e) Intuitively find reasons to take action steps that you know you need to do in order to feel good about yourself. The more you resist your intuitive feelings the worse you feel, and then the task feels bigger and bigger, until it feels enormous when really it isn’t. When you listen to your inner knowing, your intuition it is your guide telling you what is best for you. Having that sense that sometimes we need to do things our inner wisdom is saying yes to, you are serving a higher purpose. Meaning there is more to realize than the eye can see however the outcome has a bigger reward than you imagine.
